PANEL FOAM

Specialised Coating Systems use a variety of PIR (Polyisocyanurate) and PUR (Polyurethane) Panel foam.

In some areas, this system is the only available option.

On projects that have certain environmental restrictions or that have limited access for successful spray foam application, PIR or PUR Rigid foam panels are an ideal option.

These panels are available in a wide variety of thickness and density specifications.

Specialised Coating Systems are experienced in the installation of PIR and PUR Panels on all sized construction projects.

PIR

Polyisocyanurate foams, referred to as PIR, is essentially modified polyurethane (PU) foam.
Two advantages of PIR foam are improved fire-resistance and excellent insulation properties.
PIR offers the following advantages:
•Superior R-Value and thermal performance
• Moisture resistance
• Dimensionally stable
• Excellent fire test performance
• It is unaffected by commonly used construction adhesives and solvents
• Building code conformance

PUR

Rigid polyurethane block foam is a very versatile option. It offers both physical strengths and mechanical properties.

These enable it to be used in a wide variety of multi-functional building applications.

POUR FOAM

Specialised Coating Systems also use a range of rigid Polyurethane (PU) and  Polyisocyanurate (PIR) pour foam.

Both of these systems have excellent thermal insulation properties. PIR has increased fire resistance as mentioned above.

Working with our suppliers, these excellent systems can be custom formulated for you, depending on your specific project application and processing requirements.

They are used widely in the building and construction industries. Specialised Coating Systems also apply these for use in marine buoyancy, insulation, and refrigeration industries.
